The coronavirus pandemic has completely changed everything. From March 20, 2020, until the date of this post, the Napa Valley has been closed for the most part. A destination shut down. Now that we’re in Stage 3 of reopening our state, Napa County has allowed restricted dine-in at restaurants and this weekend brings us modified tasting room experiences, complete with physical distancing and PPE/masks. While it’s not what anyone is used to - what is these days - more safe wine lovers enjoying their favorite tasting safely will hopefully lead to getting our local economy back on track safely. Did I say safely? Safely.

Domaine Carneros has an incredible marketing team, one that is on top of the twists and turns that wine marketing tends to bring. This time around, the twists and turns are unlike any that we marketers have ever seen before. We were tasked to bring the new (hopefully temporary) Domaine Carneros Chateau experience to visitors in a visual way that wasn’t off-putting, wasn’t off-brand, and would give their audience a sense of how they’re being taken care of for a safe tasting experience. I think we nailed it.
