Visual Assets Have Value
Visual assets have value.
Without visual assets...
•How does a company tell their story?
•How do they showcase new products?
•How do they introduce team members?
•How do they showcase e-commerce offerings?
•How do they keep their social media feeds fresh & engaging?
•How do they create marketing materials, from brochures to rack cards to websites to holiday catalogs to email newsletters?
Could you imagine if every website still looked like Craigslist?
Visual assets have value.
I sell photography services to businesses. This is my product, and my product helps businesses sell their product. I would say that any business owner would agree that having visual assets of their product is valuable, for the reasons listed above and then some. Creative services have a hard time with value. We feel like we have to fight to prove our worth time and time again. As a photographer, I want to capture images that help businesses share their message with the world and drive sales. I want my images to evoke the right emotions for their brand, driving someone to become a part of their community and ultimately purchase from them. Storytelling, both visually and through copywriting, are core to marketing in the current world, especially when many people aren’t leaving their homes and aren’t traveling. They need a business’ story to come through to them where they are: on Instagram, Facebook, community groups, websites, partnerships, etc. Visual assets are a requirement to connect with customers in all these places.
