Quick notes:
A mix of pro photos and phone photos, some through the car window. Excuse bug splatter.
Super hot for all of the trip and super smoky for most of it.
Smoke makes for not-so-awesome photos, flat skies and weird orange-y tinges.
Northeastern Oregon/Southeastern Washington were not what we thought they would look like, much more flat & brown than hilly & green.
Nelly was awesome. I miss live music. PS you can buy legit 6-packs of Coors Light, with the plastic, at fairs in Montana.
No, we were not the requisite 25 yards from the bison, one was sleeping in the parking lot and we didn’t even see him, the other was right next to the road as we were driving into the Lake Lodge at Yellowstone Lake.
The hike to Delicate Arch was worth the challenge.
The Western US is very empty (I know this, just needs to be said.)
