I have worked with the Goosecross team on their sister brand, C. Elizabeth, for a few years now, some photography work, some social media strategy work. They’re absolutely one of the best teams (Bill Nancarrow, Christi Coors Ficeli and Dave Ficeli) - they’re creative, make superb wines, and are just generally some of the nicest people I’ve ever met. Our meetings are fun! If you haven’t been to visit their incredible tasting room - do it! It’s a stunner.

Right after our honeymoon in September but before surgery, I went up to Goosecross and did a full day shoot on their gorgeous grounds. I got some production shots, some of the team, details around the property, late vineyard shots and some product shots in-environment.

I also ran with some more artistic shots (scroll down!) for this brand. We were talking about doing a more artsy feel for some social media and I wanted to produce some images that speak to the vibe of Goosecross (formerly Goosecross Cellars) and would be interesting enough if they wanted to make prints.

The need for imagery in social/digital marketing is only increasing as social networks become more image-focused, like Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook, Tumblr and even Twitter. With the introduction of my new business, Untapped Media, I offer photography and social media marketing services using visual storytelling - photographic content for digital marketing - that brands/businesses can use to connect with consumers daily.
